Susannah Fox

PSR Affiliation: Deputy Director of Development and Membership

Susannah Fox, M.A. is Deputy Director of Development and Membership at the national office of Physicians for Social Responsibility. Prior to joining PSR in the spring of 2012, Susannah held the position of Director of Development at Capital Breast Care Center, a community initiative of Georgetown University’s Lombardi Cancer Center, which provides breast cancer screening regardless of ability to pay.

Inspired to help those in need, Susannah become an emergency medical technician while studying anthropology at Bates College. Over the past decade she advocated for the medically under-served and for cancer research raising nearly $10 million to date.

Susannah received her Masters in Communication, Culture and Technology at Georgetown University with a focus on strategic philanthropy, corporate social responsibility and new media technologies. Her goal for 2012 is to recruit, retain and further engage PSR’s membership. She resides in northern Virginia with her husband, puppy and new baby girl.
