Gala for Peace & Health

PSR's Gala for Peace & Health was held on Saturday, September 19 at the Austrian Embassy in Washington, DC. The evening featured a ceremony to honor Captstone Members (PSR members with more than 25 years of service), keynote speakers Sandra Steingraber, PhD, and James Doyle, PhD, and the conferring of the Broad Street Pump Award on Bruce Amundson, MD. Filmmaker Jonathan Deaton’s short film Joining the Conversation on Nuclear Weapons took home First Prize in the student category of the Nukebusters Short Film Award.  Photos from the event are below.
