 Volunteer

Association member volunteers are dedicated to helping Physicians for Social Responsibility achieve both its mission and vision of a safe and healthy world. We are always looking for members who are interested in sharing their time and energy.  By attending or hosting events, sharing your expertise, or serving in a chapter –YOU can play an important role in our organization.

Special Events:
As each event is different, there are many ways to promote, support, or host a PSR event in your area:

Serve on a planning committee
Work at events
Make phone calls
Host viewing parties

Support our Students:
Help us keep our medical and public health students involved after medical school. Association Representatives work with their local chapters and the national office to extend and retain current and prospective students.

Join our Association Committee:
Focusing efforts in the local area and keeping members connected throughout the country, the Committee acts as a voice for our 25-year members and works on the development of volunteers in ways that deepen their commitment to the organization and prepare them for active roles in the 25–Year Association.

Fundraising Volunteers:
Support PSR in our effort to raise funds for the organization. Volunteers not only work directly with our development team to get our important message out to friends, family, and colleagues, but they also set their own personal fundraising goals on our Champion Pages.
