Letter to Austin Mayor and City Council Members: Formula1 Racetrack - APSR joined voices with other Austin based environmental groups in expressing concern about increased air pollution and development of a Formula One racetrack. Although city council did endorse a Formula One race schedule to begin in 2012, promoters agreed to environmental concessions such as hiring low-emission shuttles to transport spectators to and from Austin.
