    Worst smog season since 2006

    Dr. Elliot Trester is part of Austin Physicians for Social Responsibility. He said he is seeing more respiratory cases and it's likely because of the smog in the air.

    Austin area's ozone at worst levels since 2006

    Dr. Elliot Trester of Austin Physicians for Social Responsibility said that young people, the elderly and fetuses are at risk for serious and potentially lifelong complications when exposed to high levels of smog.

    Letter to Austin Mayor and City Council Members

    APSR joined voices with other Austin based environmental groups in expressing concern about increased air pollution and development of a Formula One racetrack. Although city council did endorse a Formula One race schedule to begin in 2012, promoters agreed to environmental concessions such as hiring low-emission shuttles to transport spectators to and from Austin.
