Board Members

Lynn Ringenberg, M.D.: President, PSR-Tampa Bay

Professor of Pediatrics at the University of South Florida College of Medicine (USF Health) in Tampa for 16 years.  Prior to coming to USF I was in private practice in Clearwater, Florida, after completing a 2-year active duty commitment to the U.S. Army.  I remained in the Army Reserve for 26 years and retired in 2003 at the rank of colonel. I am currently the Chief, Division of General Academic Pediatrics and Co-Director of the Med-Peds Residency Training Program. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, Graduate studies in Biochemistry at the University of Maryland, Medical School at the University of Nebraska with 2 years of pediatric residency training at the University of Florida, Gainesville and one year at Bowman Gray in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I received a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, 2001. In 2008, I  co-founded Physicians for Social Responsibility -Tampa Bay, hoping to bring awareness of major issues seriously impacting our local communities, nation and world.

Donald L. Mellman, MD, MPH, MBA

Donald L. Mellman, MD, MPH, MBA was a private practice neuro surgeon for 26 years.  He now concentrates on healthcare policy & management issues as well as those of social and economic equity.

Stacie Blake

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Stacie obtained a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Vermont.  She has extensive administrative experience developing and managing programs for crime victims, battered women, immigrants and torture survivors on local, state and national levels.  Currently the Executive Director of Community Tampa Bay, she is responsible for addressing issues of discrimination and dialogue across the Bay area.  Ms. Blake has published both research and editorials on a variety of issues.
