Physicians for Social Responsibility is building on 30 years of working across the state of New York to promote and protect public health. Now, PSR members across the state of New York are coming together as a statewide PSR chapter: PSR-NY.
This change increases our effectiveness and makes our voices better heard on key issues that impact public health and safety. PSR-NY physicians are part of the recent NY Fracking Ban victory and the continuing activism on this issue.PSR-NY welcomes your involvement as we organize local and statewide actions to address:-climate change,- fracking, - environmental toxins, and- nuclear energy and nuclear weapons.
Our policy effectveness is based on the involvement, expertise, research and advocacy of PSR members across the state - physicians, other health care professionals, and concerned citizens. Please join us!
Early in 2015, PSR-NY will send a survey to current PSR members and friends in New York State to gather your input on our key issues and to assess how best PSR-NY can address them. You'll later be invited to discuss the results at a virtual PSR-NY Chapter Meeting.
We invite you to sign-up for PSR-NY email alerts and to let us know how you would like to help us protect and improve public health and safety in New York.
We look forward to your participation in 2015.
