Join us in building a healthy environment and promoting sensible security policies. Make a donation to PSR Oregon today
Today, PSR is joining with dozens of organizations, representing millions of Americans, calling on the U.S. Senate to pass clean energy and climate legislation. Please tell your Senators that we can no longer delay action if we are to protect our health and the health of future generations from catastrophic climate change.
Action: Write a letter to the editor.
Oregon PSR's Maye Thompson, RN, PhD, co-authored an opinion editorial in today's Oregonian on the hazards of BPA. Help us keep the pressure on: read Maye's op-ed and write a letter to the editor supporting PSR's effort to get this toxic chemical out of our bodies.
PSR is launching a campaign to use the weeks before President Obama accepts the Nobel Peace Prize to advance our vital work on nuclear disarmament.
As the U.S. affiliate of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, proud recipients of the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize, PSR calls on our Nobel Peace Laureate President to take irreversible steps to put us on the path to achieving his bold vision of a world without nuclear weapons.
Most immediately, we ask that President Obama publicly declare that the U.S. will not develop new nuclear weapons under any name or guise.
Please urge the President to use the spotlight afforded by the Nobel Peace Prize to affirm that the U.S. is serious about stopping the development of new nuclear weapons--for all nations--forever.
