In June of 2012, Oregon PSR and Washington PSR formed an official joint Nuclear Power Task Force to coordinate efforts around regional nuclear power issues. Chuck Johnson, a long-time nuclear power activist, was hired to head up the task force. Current goals for the task force include closing the Columbia Generating Station, the Northwest's only remaining nuclear power plant, and to block construction of new nuclear power plants in our region. Please check out the articles below to learn more about this work. For more information or to get involved in this work, please contact Chuck Johnson at 503-777-2794.
