Please join our colleagues at the Oregon Alliance to Prevent Gun Violence for a Day of Action to Prevent Gun Violence. Tragically, 45 years ago on April 4th, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was shot and killed. The Alliance will call on the Oregon legislature to honor his memory by enacting common-sense legislation to prevent gun violence.
When: Thursday, April 4th, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Where: Oregon State Capitol (900 Court Street NE in Salem)
Presented by the Oregon Alliance to Prevent Gun Violence, the day will include visits to legislators, workshops, information on preventing gun violence, and more. Join Moms Demand Action, the Brady Campaign, Ceasefire Oregon, and other groups supporting gun safety legislation. You can read Ceasefire Oregon's legislative update here.
Our legislators need to understand that Oregonians want gun law reform now. Register for the April 4th Day of Action today.
