Please join us for an eye-opening evening event with Iraq War veteran Matt Southworth.

When: Sunday, September 9th, 2012, 7:00-9:00 PM

Where: Multnomah Friends Meeting House (4312 SE Stark Street in Portland)

Matt is the Legislative Associate on Foreign Policy for Friends Committee on National Legislation, an Iraq War veteran and a member of the Veterans for Peace national Board of Directors. He will be in Portland to discuss what we can do to support military spending cuts.

The event is free and open to the public, and donations will be accepted.

This event is sponsored by Veterans for Peace, Portland Chapter 72 and hosted by Multnomah Friends Meeting. Cosponsors include American Friends Service Committee, Oregon Physicians for Social Responsibility, Women's International League for Peace and Freedom and the Portland First Unitarian Church.
