Climate change’s threats to human health and life are growing. Will you join our latest effort to roll back climate change?
Join us for “Transforming the Human Spirit,” a special exhibition at the Oregon Buddhist Center that asks “Is it possible to transform the culture of violence into a culture of peace?” The exhibit runs from November 8th until the 23rd, and there will be a special event on Saturday, November 19th featuring Dr. Hideko Tamura Snider and Oregon PSR Board of Directors member Dr. Susan Katz.
When: November 8th - 23rd (open from 7 PM to 9 PM Tuesday to Friday and 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturday and Sunday)
Where: SGI Oregon Buddhist Center, 17555 Bryant Road, Lake Oswego
On Saturday, November 19th at 1:00 PM, Dr. Hideko Tamura Snider will give a 45-minute presentation on her experience as a hibakusha and her work to ban nuclear weapons.
