WPSR Members to Report on Life in Gaza

March 15, 2011 - March 15, 2011
Kirkland, Washington

In January, members of Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility traveled to the Gaza Strip. While there, delegates provided services and support for hundreds of patients and colleagues, and met with dozens of Gazans eager to talk about their experiences. In late 2010, Rev. Jason Boyd, Pastor of Kirkland Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, traveled to the Holy Land, meeting with numerous groups in Israel and the West Bank.

On March 15th members of the recent delegation will give an eyewitness report on what they saw, did and learned while in Gaza, and Rev. Jason Boyd will report concerning his trip, the people he met and his experiences along the way.

Please join us for a presentation at the Kirkland Congregational Church (106 – 5th Avenue, Kirkland, Washington) on March 15th at 7 pm. (Street parking and parking in the City Hall lot across the street will be available for this event. The church parking lot is presently occupied by residents of Tent City 4 homeless encampment.) While donations are welcome, this event is free and open to the public, and is a Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility sponsored community forum.
