Tell Congress you won’t support phony chemicals policy reform -- only real, health-protective reform.
On March 25th 2010, WPSR members, new supporters, and old friends came together at the home of Pauline and Richard Saxon, MD to welcome and meet with renowned nuclear weapons abolitionist and PSR Co-Founder Helen Caldicott, MD. Helen eloquently articulated the grave threats posed by our nuclear energy relapse, its links to nuclear proliferation, and the urgency with which we need to move our planet out of the intensive care unit so that there is a better world for all of us. A lively discussion had attendees leaving with a renewed commitment to the elimination of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, the achievement of a sustainable environment and the creation of a healthy peaceful world.
WPSR holds periodic briefings of this type, providing members with timely information on WPSR issues as well as an opportunity to get to know and exchange views with the WPSR and PSR leadership. If you’d like to join us in the future, just let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Particles on the Wall is an interdisciplinary exhibit exploring elements of the nuclear age, science, Hanford history, their thread through our lives and their bearing on the Columbia River and natural world. POTW's first venue is in Seattle's University District at the Allegro Cafe.
