Recommitting to a Nuclear-Free World: An Evening with Helen Caldicott, MD

WPSR Members meet with renowned nuclear weapons abolitionist and PSR co-founder Helen Caldicott, MD.

On March 25th 2010, WPSR members, new supporters, and old friends came together at the home of Pauline and Richard Saxon, MD to welcome and meet with renowned nuclear weapons abolitionist and PSR Co-Founder Helen Caldicott, MD.  Helen eloquently articulated the grave threats posed by our nuclear energy relapse, its links to nuclear proliferation, and the urgency with which we need to move our planet out of the intensive care unit so that there is a better world for all of us. A lively discussion had attendees leaving with a renewed commitment to the elimination of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, the achievement of a sustainable environment and the creation of a healthy peaceful world.
