Matthew C. Nisbet is Associate
Professor in the School of Communication at American University, Washington,
DC, and Director of the Climate Shift project. His research on climate
change communication examines how mental models, social identity, and media use
shape the perceptions and actions of experts, decision-makers, journalists, and
different segments of the public.
