Petra Wood and John Wood

Petra Wood, a research wildlife biologist with a PhD from the University of Florida, studies anthropogenic effects of habitat changes on wildlife populations. John Wood, a statistician and previously a plant ecologist, has an MS from the University of Florida. They have lived in Cassville, West Virginia, since 1992. Coal ash mine dumping started about five years later and has been ongoing ever since.
