Rebecca Meuninck
Ms. Meuninck coordinates environmental health policy, education, and outreach campaigns for the Ecology Center and the Michigan Network for Children’s Environmental Health. She has worked on various environmental health and environmental justice campaigns for over a decade. In addition to her work at the Ecology Center, she is pursuing her PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology at Michigan State University. Her research explores the social, environmental, and economic impacts of fair trade and organic coffee production on small-scale farming families in Brazil. She has lived and studied throughout Latin American and speaks Portuguese and Spanish. Ms. Meuninck holds a Masters of Arts in Anthropology, and graduate specialization in Gender, Justice, and Environmental Change from Michigan State University, and a BS in Environmental Anthropology from the School of Natural Resources and Environment, University of Michigan.
