Robert Amundson, PhD
Robert Amundson is a retired plant physiologist. His
research focused on the impacts of air pollutants on crops and forests while at
The Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research at Cornell University. He moved
to Portland, Oregon, in the 1990s and worked as an environmental consultant. His
background in monitoring air pollutants led him to work with Portland
neighborhoods to help them determine what was in their air. He helped found
Oregon Toxics Alliance and continues to work with that organization and
individuals statewide on issues associated with air toxics.
