Ever since his own property was contaminated by unlawful activities of neighbors in 2001, Russ Maddox has been actively investigating contaminated sites and advocating on behalf of victims of chemical trespass. He serves on a number of boards and committees for local, statewide, and national conservation organizations, including the Sierra Club, Alaska Conservation Alliance, and Resurrection Bay Conservation Alliance.
