The annual gathering to commemorate the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. "The Decision to Bomb Hiroshima: Unleashing the Most Terrible Weapon in History" will be the keynote presentation by Thomas Swift, PhD, Professor emeritus, California State University. Jenn Rogar will lead songs for peace and justice. The story of Sadako and the Thousand Cranes will be told and a Call for Action will be led. Presented by the August Peace Event planning group. PSR/Sacramento is the fiscal sponsor.
