Chicago PSR is collaborating with the AMA, the ISMS, and the Harvard School of Public Health to
bring a CME conference on climate change and public health to Chicago on
November 4th.
The conference includes a
lecture on climate change and public health by Aaron Bernstein M.D., M.P.H.
Aaron Bernstein is the Acting Associate Director of the Center for Health and
the Global Environment at Harvard Medical School and a pediatric hospitalist at
Children's Hospital.
The conference also includes a
lecture on the science of climate change by Yarrow Axford PhD. Yarrow Axford
teaches and conducts research in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences
at Northwestern University.
Chicago PSR Board Member Dr.
Peter Orris and Executive Director, Dr. Sarah Lovinger, and Dr. Cortland Lohff,
Medical Director of Environmental Health of the Chicago Department of Public
Health, will comprise the reactor panel following the lectures.

This CME conference takes place
at Northwestern's Lurie Cancer Center from 5-7:30 PM on November 4. This
