On October 31st, the Lancet Countdown, an annual report that is dedicated to tracking the world's response to climate change, and the health benefits that emerge from this transition, will be released. We ask that you join us for an esteemed speaker’s event, Climate Change: The Defining Health Challenge and Opportunity of the 21st Century, to discuss its findings.

Speakers at this event include a number of SF Bay Area PSR colleagues who are experts in the fields of public health and climate change. They include: Dr. Gina Solomon, Deputy Secretary for Science and Health at the CAL-EPA and former SF Bay Area PSR board member; Rachel Morello-Frosch, UC Berkeley Professor; Dr. John Balmes, UC Berkeley and UCSF Professor; and Hector De Le Torre, Member of the California Resources Air Board and Executive Director of the Transamerica Center for Health Studies. It will be moderated by Dr. Linda Rudolph, Director of the Center for Climate Change and Health at the Public Health Institute.
