'Contagion': From Fiction to Public Health Policy

Together with Northwestern University and the City of Evanston Health Department, Chicago PSR is co-sponsoring a lecture and panel discussion highlighting the importance of public health departments to keep us all healthy.  On October 23, award-winning science writer and Northwestern alumna Maryn McKenna, author of "Superbug: The Fatal Menace of MRSA" will lead a discussion, 'Contagion': From Fiction to Public Health Policy'.  She will be joined by panelists from the Evanston Health Department and from local hospitals to discuss planning for and prevention of life-threatening infectious disease epidemics.
