Film Screening: Prisoners and Patriots

Meet filmmaker Neil Simon whose film documents the secret imprisonment of 17,000 Japanese Americans in Department of Justice camps preceding the later incarceration of the rest of the 120,000 West Coast Japanese Americans.
Admission is $15 (free for students under 18) and includes entrance to “Uprooted-The Japanese American Experience” at the adjacent California State Museum. Presented by the Florin, Lodi, Placer County, and Sacramento chapters of the Japanese American Citizens League. PSR/Sacramento is one of the co-sponsors.
