In collaboration with the Project for Nuclear Awareness (PNA), Philadelphia PSR will present the John C. & Chara C. Haas Award for International Peace and Social Justice to Dr. Helen Caldicott, pediatrician, former president of Physicians for Social Responsibility, and co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.
The Thursday evening program will include a dialogue between Dr. Caldicott and Trudy Rubin, Foreign Affairs Columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer, and the inaugural presentation of the Eisendrath Award for Youth Advocacy in Nuclear Disarmament, to a deserving individual.
Supper will be served.
