Dr. Woolhandler, professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, is co-director of the general internal medicine fellowship program. She has authored more than 50 research articles on health care access and financing and is a co-founder and board member of Physicians for a National Health Program.     The PSR/Sacramento 8th annual dinner will be held on Sunday, October 2nd, featuring keynote speaker Vic Sidel, MD. Dr. Sidel, who is a member of the PSR national board, will also speak on October 3rd to UC Davis medical students on the public health impacts of war and the role of medical student advocacy for peace.
