PSR/Sacramento Scholarship Essay Contest Finals Dinner

The ten student finalists will be presenting their essays based on the quote "Education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world" by the late Nelson Mandela.     The PSR/Sacramento 8th annual dinner will be held on Sunday, October 2nd, featuring keynote speaker Vic Sidel, MD. Dr. Sidel, who is a member of the PSR national board, will also speak on October 3rd to UC Davis medical students on the public health impacts of war and the role of medical student advocacy for peace.
