Health professionals in the greater Los Angeles area will be showing up to LA City Hall on Tuesday, November 28 at 10AM to publicly hand-deliver a letter calling on the City Council to seriously consider the health impacts and risks associated with urban oil drilling (please arrive 15 minutes early). As the City is conducting its own study, we are calling for the phaseout of oil operations where it happens closest to people—within a 2,500-ft. setback distance. Please join us in our efforts to gain this common sense solution for our communities!
