present Dr. Helen Caldicott, an internationally respected physician educator,
author and advocate on the medical hazards of the nuclear age and the
necessary changes in human behavior to stop environmental
degradation. Dr. Caldicott is the co-founder of Physicians for
Social Responsibility.
Please join us on Thursday, October 6,
2011 as Dr. Caldicott delivers the USF College of Public Health
Dean's Lecture.
The 3rd Annual T. Terrell Sessums Award will
be presented the same evening to Mary Figg, community leader, state legislator
and environmental advocate.
The event is co-sponsored by Physicians for
Social Responsibility Tampa Bay and USF College of Public Health.
