Help Stop the War on Children at Home and Abroad
Violence, a human rights, social and public health problem, is a major stressor in kids' lives at home and abroad. Its complex long‐term physical and emotional impairments are felt for years. Too often the violence experienced by children is hidden or obfuscated by language that makes some forms of violence socially acceptable and others not. Exploring the links between violence at home and abroad, this forum will allow participants to envision alternatives that contribute to a livable and secure future for all children. Questions?
