On Wednesday, December 5, PSR Security Program Coordinator, Jill Parillo will testify at a Department of Energy (DOE) public hearing on the proposed nuclear waste repository in Yucca Mountain, Nevada. Pointing to the significant risks to human life and health posed by the transport and storage of high-level nuclear waste at Yucca Mountain, Ms. Parillo argues that the proposed facility fails to offer a safe and secure solution to our nation’s nuclear waste problem.
