Biological and Chemical Weapons
The commercial use of potentially hazardous biological and chemical materials makes them widely accessible and more difficult to curb through normal mechanisms. As a consequence, the risk posed by weapons using these materials are significant and require constant vigilance by our government and the public health community. This section will explore Physicians for Social Responsibility's research, policy perscriptions, and methods that activists can engage their local representatives to do more on this important issue. It is our responsibilty, as a medical voice, to make clear the risk associated with insufficient mitigation and adaptation to the risk posed by these terrible weapons in our country.
