Our water is at risk—act now!

August 18, 2017

Few things are more fundamental to our health than the water we drink. No one should have to worry about dirty drinking water. But that is what could happen if the EPA succeeds in replacing the Clean Water Rule with standards that dramatically reduce the effectiveness of the Clean Water Act (CWA).

The Clean Water Rule is essential to protect the water we drink. It clarifies what streams, tributaries, and wetlands can be protected under the CWA. The rule safeguards one-third of U.S. residents whose drinking water comes from upstream sources not currently protected under the CWA.

We need to be doing more, not less, to rein in polluters and stop contamination at the source.

Tell the EPA that clean water is a public health imperative for all communities!
