Support Obama's brave stand on Keystone XL pipeline!

January 19, 2012

President Obama's decision to reject the Keystone XL pipeline was the right decision. It was also politically courageous.

The proposed pipeline would have endangered the sensitive sand hills area of Nebraska as well as the Ogallala aquifer, a critical water source for much of the American heartland. It would also have increased world – and U.S – reliance on petroleum while deferring our nation’s long-overdue shift to non-fossil fuels.

Please join PSR in thanking President Obama for his correct and courageous stance. And when you have done that, tell your senators why the Keystone XL pipeline is a bad idea for America, now and in the future.
