It's unusual to get a solid bipartisan bill to address carbon emissions, but the Shaheen (D)-Portman (R) Energy Efficiency bill S761 does just that.
Unfortunately, it's become a target for extremists in Congress who want to score political points and add harmful amendments that would attack the EPA's role on addressing climate or promoting dirty energy.
Tell your senator: Tacking on harmful amendments that undermine the bill's purpose is unacceptable. Keep the energy efficiency bill clean.
