Nation's budget should reflect our priorities. Let your voice be heard!
February 13, 2012
Today,
President Obama released his administration's plans for 2013 federal
spending. The United States bankrolls a military-industrial complex that
has infiltrated our political process in unacceptable ways. This
country's investment in the military has deprived our communities of the
resources they need to rebuild our schools, invest in health care for
all, and create a clean energy future.

As
national and local media focus in on the federal budget, it is essential
for committed advocates like you to be heard. Please take three minutes
to use our online tool to write a letter to the editor. We have a rare opportunity to protest the biggest boondoggle in our nation - the bloated military budget.
People all over are waking up to the reality that our nation's
budgetary priorities are dangerously out of touch with the real
challenges facing us. If we work together, we can build a safe and
healthy future for our nation and the world. Let's send a clear and
powerful message that we want a budget that focuses on our priorities.
