Stop New Nuclear Bomb Plants
May 14, 2012
Some members of Congress are currently pushing to build a huge plutonium facility for nuclear weapons at the Los Alamos National Laboratory over the objections of the Administration, experts, and common sense.
There is no need for the plant, yet it would cost over $5 billion to complete. On Wednesday, May 16, Congress will make a key decision on whether or not to fund construction.
Please call your representative today and ask her or him to oppose funding for this unnecessary and dangerous nuclear bomb plant. Please also ask for meaningful reductions in our military budget. But please call now!
