Worried about North Korea? Tell your senators
April 17, 2017
Amid threats and counter-threats from American and North Korean leaders—combined with demonstrations of military might—PSR's message about preventing nuclear war is more important than ever. Prevention is the only cure. Military action by the United States could lead to a humanitarian catastrophe.
Members of Congress are on recess until April 25 and are likely "in-district," meaning close to you. Now is the time to speak out. Find a Town Hall meeting in your community. Urge your senators to tell the Trump administration to step up diplomatic overtures to North Korea and step back from brinkmanship.

If you are unable to attend a Town Hall, make your voice heard by calling or emailing your senators' offices.
The only safe number of nuclear weapons is zero—for North Korea, the United States, and the other 7 nuclear-armed countries. PSR sides with 132 nations that are meeting at the UN to support a nuclear weapons ban treaty. Until the weapons are eliminated, we must be vigilant to ensure they are never used again.
