Director of Philanthropy
Cheryl Talbert Sam has worked in the nonprofit arena for more than 17 years. She has held positions with several small and large nonprofit organizations including American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, The Hispanic College Fund and South Baltimore Learning Center. Her most recent position was with University of Maryland University College where she served as the Director of Development.
Mrs. Sam received her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University located in her hometown of New Orleans. Louisiana. She also earned a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Maryland University College.
She has two sons and currently resides in Southern Maryland with her husband of five years.
